When can shrubs be planted in Maryland?
Shrubs can be planted in Maryland in fall, in early spring, and in winter while the soil is not frozen. Summer planting, with plants in full leaf, can stress them and is better avoided where possible. We plant shrubs for homes around Annapolis and on Kent Island, and the estimate is free.

Do you build new planting beds or only refresh old ones?
Both. We build new landscape beds, and we clean up beds and refresh the mulch in ones that are already there. One front bed we built started as patchy grass beside a stone house.
Can you clean up an overgrown bed before mulching it?
Yes. We do bed cleanups and we install mulch, so both can go in one request. If the beds need to be looked at first, we set up a visit before quoting.
Do you maintain beds after they are planted?
Yes. We maintain landscape beds as well as build them. The price depends on which beds and how often you want them kept up.
What should I send you for a mulch or bed estimate?
The property address, which beds you want worked on, whether each bed is new or a refresh of one you have, and whether you want shrubs or plants installed too. Ask for planting, for mulch, or the two together, for one bed or every bed. We install mulch at homes and at commercial properties. We reply by text or a call. When a bed job cannot be priced from a description, we book a time to see the beds with you. The estimate is free.
