Do you hang Christmas lights on Kent Island?
Yes. We cross the Bay Bridge to light up houses in Stevensville and Chester, which are in Queen Anne's County. A single-story house lit on the front roofline starts at $650. If wind off the Bay pulls a strand loose during the season, the fix is part of the one payment.

Questions
Can you put lights on an older house in the Stevensville historic district?
Yes, send the address and we will price it. Stevensville was founded in 1850, and its first growth followed an 1866 steamboat terminal on the Chester River. The Stevensville Historic District, listed on the National Register in 1986, is mostly two and two and a half story frame houses from the late 1800s and early 1900s, so most of them are priced in the free estimate rather than at the single-story start.
When does Santa come around Kent Island?
The Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department announces its Santa Run itself; the 2025 run was announced in December 2025, when its volunteers escorted Santa around the island to say hello to residents.
Do I have to be home when the lights come down?
No. In the days between Christmas and New Year's you get a range of dates from us. We let you know when the crew is on the way and when it is finished, with pictures of the house.
